Pengetahuan dan Sikap yang Berhubungan Dengan Kolaborasi Interprofesional Perawat dan Dokter

Abstract

Interprofessional collaboration between nurses and physicians is a form of cooperation, partnership, and integrated communication among healthcare professionals in various settings to provide safe and effective patient care. This practice focuses on patient safety and improving the quality of care. One way to foster effective interprofessional collaboration between nurses and physicians is to enhance their knowledge and attitudes.  Knowledge and attitudes are critical to the success of interprofessional collaboration between nurses and physicians, where a clear understanding of roles, mutual respect, and open communication are key to improving patient safety. The purpose of this study is to determine the knowledge and attitudes associated with interprofessional collaboration between nurses and doctors. The type of research is an analytical correlation study with a cross-sectional design.  The population consisted of all doctors and nurses at the hospital, totaling 144 people. Using purposive sampling, a sample of 59 people was selected. The data collection instrument consists of a questionnaire. This study was conducted at Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital in Banda Aceh from July 13 to 25, 2026. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test. The research results show that there is a relationship between knowledge and interprofessional collaboration between nurses and doctors with p < 0.000. Then there is a relationship between attitude and interprofessional collaboration between nurses and doctors with p < 0.002. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that knowledge and attitude are related to interprofessional collaboration between nurses and doctors at Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital Banda Aceh.
